MICHAEL C. HEINRICH: Dr. Heinrich is Professor of Medicine and Cell and Developmental Biology at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute. He also is head of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute GIST Translational and Clinical Research Programs. He earned his MD in 1984 from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, completing both his residency training and Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at OHSU. His primary research interest is development of novel TKIs for treatment of human cancers, including both pre-clinical identification of novel molecular targets and testing of new agents in the lab and clinic.
